Job Type:             Full-Time, Permanent (on completion of Probationary Period)

Hours:                  Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm (4pm on Friday) – Negotiable

Job Location:      Battle, East Sussex, TN33 0AQ

Salary:                 £22,000 – £25,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Holiday:               20 Days P.A. plus Bank Holidays (after probationary period, first year is pro-rata entitlement)

Imtex Controls Limited is a privately owned company that manufactures a range of Valve Actuation and Communication equipment that are used in the Process Industries, particularly the Energy Sector. Imtex Controls is seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to be based at the Sales office in Battle, East Sussex.

Role and Responsibilities example (not limited to this list)

  • Providing administrative support to the company overall, with reference to the Sales Engineers and Purchasing Manager based in the Battle office
  • Assisting in the purchasing activities including; generating PO’s, tracking PO progress and assisting in the updating of the weekly update list
  • Arranging transportation of supplier inbound and outboard goods to the factory based in Deeside
  • Collating and supplying Contract information as requested by the Sales team
  • Updating SharePoint documents with client references and sales information
  • Supporting the account team as required including some purchase ledger work
  • Assisting in answering and directing phone calls and emails


Candidate Requirements

  • Good level of IT competence including use of Microsoft Office / Teams / SharePoint – particularly Excel
  • Previous office experience preferable but not mandatory
  • Accounts / purchasing knowledge / experience preferred but training is available
  • Confident in answering phones and speaking to clients and/or suppliers

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to use own initiative to solve issues when they arise
  • Good written and oral communication skills
